Mark wrote about NT and Unix in the December 1998 issue of Windows NT Magazine. Mark Russinovich earned his Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University in 1994 where his thesis topic was software-based, application-transparent fault tolerance. He is currently a contributing editor for Dr. Dobb's Journal and Windows NT Magazine, and is an NT internals researcher for a large company. Mark lives in Danbury, Connecticut.
